APS Foundation Scholarship

The Allendale Public Schools Foundation grants a scholarship of $1000 each to two deserving graduates from current year's Senior Class who best exemplify the AHS Core Values of Attitude, Honor and Scholarship.

To apply, fill out a form and complete a one-page essay, usually due in the High School office in May.   2021 Form is to come.

Logan Heft APS Foundation Scholarship WinnerLogan Heft

Logan has been a student at Allendale Public Schools his whole life and graduates from AHS with a 4.2 GPA. His favorite subjects are math and science. Outside of school, he enjoys hunting, fishing and woodworking. In high school, he was a part of the Allendale Rotary Club for four years and he was a part of the National Honor Society for two years. In the fall he plans to attend Grand Valley State University to pursue a degree in engineering.

 

 

Cybil Forner, 2020 APS Foundation Scholarship Award WinnerCybil Forner

Cybil will be pursuing a degree in physical education at Grand Rapids Community College before transferring to Grand Valley State University. She is an excellent student with a 3.9 GPA and a dedication to bettering her community. She has been a tutor to Allendale Elementary students and an assistant girls basketball coach for the 7th Grade B-Team. She enjoys being physically fit, baking, basketball and spending time with her family and pets. Words to live by, according to Cybil: “Always be kind to others, you never know what they are going through.”
